COMPLIANCE UPDATES

Note: There have been no changes to turnaround times with the following fee changes:

UT, IN State Fee Increased
Effective July 1, 2007
Please be aware that effective July 1, 2007, the state of Utah raised its fees for driving records from $7.25 to $9.00 per record. At the same time, Indiana raised its state fees from $6.00 to $7.50.

RI State Fee Increased
Effective July 3, 2007
Please be aware that effective July 3, 2007, the state of Rhode Island raised its fees
for driving records from $18.00 to $19.50 per record.

WA State Fee Increased
Effective August 1, 2007
Please be aware that effective August 1, 2007, the state of Washington raised its fees for driving records from $5.00 to $10.00 per record.

GA State Fee Increased
Effective October 1, 2007
Please be aware that effective October 1, 2007, the state of Georgia will raise its fees for 3 year driving records from $5.00 to $6.00 per record and 7 year driving records from $7.00 to $8.00.

NV To Require NAIC Codes
Effective October 14, 2007
Effective October 14, 2007, the state of Nevada wil require NAIC codes be submitted with all insurance orders.

Comply with CA SB1500
(Chapter [CH] 920, 2004) – Today, all insurance companies must report insurance status on CA registered vehicles which are subject to suspension if liability insurance is cancelled, or if the insurance company has not electronically provided proof of insurance, or if false insurance information is provided to the DMV.
